I am handling the social distancing quite well. I naturally do not like to go out and about, but I do get the “look” when I take the children outside for a walk or to play in the back.

It is hard on the children the most; they just do not understand the term “social distancing.” My neighbour decided to allow her children to play outside while we were out. Automatically the kids wanted to share toys and play.

Frustration kicks in! For three years, we have told the kids to share. Finally, they have understood what we have been talking about to now; we are yelling, “don’t share toys.” The poor kids we’re looking at us like we had lost our minds.

We all know that this is just a faze, how are other parents and grandparents dealing with very young children?
