“Woman in Canada earn less than men – even for the same job: Glassdoor”  Was the first thing I read. I was like …

This debate has been going on forever and some!

As a good friend of mine commented on the article, I posted on Facebook. “These are always biased and give everything in broad general terms. A man and women with the same education, in the same job, for the same length of time would receive the same wage. If not, there would be a civil lawsuit in place.

The only way to say that a woman makes less than a man would be to include maternity pay if the women have a child, mat leave pay is less than full wage.

We live in a capitalistic society, if you could get the same work out of women and pay her 17% less than a man to do the same job why would they pay the man more.”

I love my friends; another one commented, saying,

“If this were the case, there would be the only woman working. What employer wants to pay out more then they have too!”

Let us give our heads a quick shake and get back to reality. It is discrimination not to pay a female the same starting wage as a male. The major factor is the life choices we females have made. I am not to sure who whats to keep this war going on wheather it be the new age feminist or the goverment. I do not really care, but it needs to stop!
